8 in 6 Program
(Available for 7th & 8th grade students only)
This program provides students with the ability to complete high school graduation requirements at an accelerated rate by taking overload and summer courses. Once state graduation requirements are satisfied, students can stay in high school and take college credits paid for by the state (under Dual Credit for Early Completers program) and graduate with their peers.
8th Grade Students Only
(8 High School Credits)
- Algebra I (2 credits)
- Physical Science (2 credits)
- History, "We the People" (2 credits)
- Perspectives II, English 9 (2 credits)
Students must pass test for enrollment into high school credit classes and/or be recommended by teacher. Courses will take the place of 8th grade English, Math, and project classes.
